Being a local I have heard many bad reports over the years and experienced the occasional nondescript meal here however as its now a Hungry Horse decided to give it another try. Pleasantly surprised. The waitress was exceptional - conscientious, polite and ever so helpful. The pub and toilets were actually clean (a rare thing sometimes) and as for the food I couldn't fault it. We ate every scrap!
